she looks around and notes the silence of the room,
her love still has not returned.
though he said he would only be gonr for a couple of hours.
slowly dawn aproaches and she looks up once more,
unable to hide the worry in her eyes,
as she lets out a silent prayer to the great goddess,
mother please return him safe.
she settles back into her book,
and awaits the safe return of her king,
for only he can stiffle her worries.
upon his safe return,
surely she will sleep.
